Homeschool Classes

Now Offering Home School Classes!

The perfect supplement for home school parents, students will receive professional instruction in these highly specialized fields alongside other CCM students. Don’t wait to enroll; space is limited.

Spanish

(1st –6th grade)

Students start with basic commands, expressions and greetings and slowly expand their vocabulary to include days, months, seasons, weather, time, common family and household terms, and more.

Instructor Jenna Mansfield has a degree in Secondary Spanish Education and a lifelong love of Spanish and travel abroad. She spent her freshman year of college in Argentina and spent several months in Costa Rica teaching English. For the past six years, she’s been teaching Spanish at Concord High School.

Music

(1st –6th grade)

Students will be exposed to multiple musical instruments, new word play songs and basic principles of music performance such as music terminology and rhythm & movement.

Our instructor Nicole Schmucker has been teaching music to elementary students for more than a decade. Ms. Schmucker received a Bachelor of Arts in Instrumental Music Education degree in 2004 from Ball State University.

Art

(1st –6th grade)

Students will learn to creatively express themselves with watercolors, oil pastels, acrylic paint, clay, pencils and other media. We explore how art is a part of the Bible, science, history and culture, math and language and study several significant artists each session. This year, our students have expressed a special interest in drawing, so we’ll be putting extra emphasis on those skills.

Our instructor Jaime Soliman has long been associated with CCM and has a great love for teaching children about the world of art.

Physical Education

(1st –6th grade)

Our physical education program is lead by Karen Walton from CrossFit Raze. Karen presents a fun, interactive program that encourages safe athletic play. Through various activities children push, pull, run, throw, lift, jump and climb their way to better health.

Science

(1st –6th grade)
Elementary students study an earthworm at Cornerstone Christian Montessori School, a private school in Elkhart, Indiana.

Help your child catch the love of science with this fun hands-on class. Students will explore foundational concepts in biology, chemistry, physics, earth science and astronomy using hands-on inquiry, observation, art, and documenting in science notebooks. (class schedule to be determined)

“By the end of her 1st year in the primary class she was fluently reading, could count well beyond 100, was skip counting, was learning memory verses every month, was exposed to science, math, and geography in a way one could only dream of for a child her age.”
