Summer Enrichment

Summer Education Experience (SEE)

Students will enjoy outdoor time every day and activities will follow Montessori work cycles. Children will spend time learning science, sports, engineering, theater, music, and cooking throughout the week. Afternoons will be focused on arts & recreation.

Our Summer Education Experience program is open to any child, regardless of whether you attend CCM during the school year. Our SEE program is available for ages 6 weeks through 6th grade. Hours are from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm with Before and After Care available.

Sessions:

One-week sessions during June and July (closed week of July 4th)

Times:

8:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. Morning Session
12:15 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. Afternoon Session
8:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. Full Day session includes lunchtime (11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.)

Before Care available at 6:30 a.m. | After Care available until 6:00 p.m.

Cost: 5-day (Mon-Fri) or 3-day* (Mon,Tues,Wed) options

FULL DAY

Infant: $850 / month (6 weeks to 18 months) - Full time only

Toddler: $170 / week (18 months to 3 years)

Primary: $160 / week (3-6 years, potty-trained)

Elementary: $160 / week (1st - 6th grade)

 

HALF DAY (Morning OR Afternoon sessions)

Infant: Full time only

Toddler: $80 / week (18 months to 3 years)

Primary: $75 / week (3-6 years, potty-trained)

Elementary: $75 / week (1st - 6th grade)

*3-day Program (Mon,Tues,Wed) is available at 60% of 5-day cost.

 

Before & After Care - $5.00 per hour
Before Care available at 6:30 a.m.  | After Care available until 6:00 p.m.

Details:

Weekly sessions must be paid for upon registration. Payments (cash or check) may be made in the school office. Card payments or ACH approval may be made over the phone. Your spot is not secured until full payment is received. Before and After Care fees are calculated weekly and deducted through a Now & Then account.

Please note: Because we staff our classes based on enrollment, please no switching of classes or sessions. NO REFUNDS. 5% Sibling Discount and 5% Pay in Full discount (full payment for all 8 weeks).

 

2020 SEE Themes - Toddler, Primary, Elementary

All sessions will include in-house field trips/speakers, cooking/food preparation activities, movement, gardening, and outside water play.

May 26-29 Kick Off Summer!

Students will learn games, dances, exercises, and more, with lots of outside play. This is a great way to kick off the summer!

June 1-5 Vacation Bible School

Learn more about what Jesus has done in your everyday life. Explore his word and the works of his Apostles.  Discover how to make Jesus a bigger part of your life.

June 8-12 Get Creative

This week we let our inner artist come out to explore. We will learn about many different mediums and practice using them to create our own masterpieces. On Friday we will hold an art exhibit -- come by and see what we have created!

June 15-19 Superheroes

This week will focus on the superheroes we encounter every day and students will learn about their own superhero strengths. Students will learn about real-life heroes and how they help our community.     

June 22-26 Sports

Students will sample of variety of indoor and outdoor spoors during the week. They will learn about the rules of each game and how to play with good sportsmanship.

July 6-10 Weather

A local weather person will visit and explore the many types of weather encountered in our area.

July 13-17 Nature

Students will explore the world around us, in our gardens and nature trail. They will learn about the systems that allow our plants to flourish and experience this amazing world through hands-on learning and plant cultivation.

July 20-24 Theater

Students will learn about the three tools of the actor, body, voice, and imagination. Students will dress up, listen, share, retell stories, and move to music.

July 27-31  Space

Students will learn about the solar system as they explore the stars and planets. Students will pretend to board a space ship and take an adventure to outer space. They will see the constellations and try some astronaut food.
